Official WB Description

DEAN LEARNS THE TRUTH ABOUT HIS PARENTS IN A FLAS
HBACK EPISODE Dean is transported back in time and is shocked when he lands in Lawrence, Kansas. However, that shock turns to amazement after he runs into a young John Winchester and Mary who have just fallen in love. Dean isn't sure why he was sent back so he begins to enjoy the time with his parents and newfound grandfather, who may be hiding a secret that is key to Sam and Dean's entire predicament.

My review: Dean time travels thanks to Castiel who wanted him to "stop
" something in 1973 There were some references to Back to the Future series which i would mention later. Dean meets his father, a young John Winchester. He also meets Mary Campbell, and her family who were hunters too! Mary's father's name was Samuel which she may have named Sam Winchester after as Samuel is Sam Winchester's Real Name. This episode showed how Azazel(YED) went around making deals with people whom he said he wants nothing in return but would return 10 years later for a slight favour... The episode also shows how Samuel Campbell was against Mary being with John. Mary also expresses her wish to stay away from hunting and for her family too. A young Daniel Elkins is featured too as Dean enters his house to steal/borrow The Colt, though Elkins was reluctant. That's all for my review, don wanna reveal too much :D Oh, finally, when Dean returns, Castiel explains to him that he could not have stopped anything. Everything is destined, jus that the road to it may differ... He tells Dean that Sam is going down a dangerous road and if Dean does not stop it, he and other angels or even God WILL stop it...

Mary had a protection bracelet, filled with different sigils and symbols of protections

Reference to Back to The Future series:
  • When Dean was sitting beside John, a brief view showed how both were sitting similarly which was also featured in BTF when Marty sits beside his Dad and subsequently his son in back to back series.

  • The place where Dean meets John is a cafe, obvious allusion to that of BTF
  • “Okay so what, angels got their hands on some Delorians? How did I get here?” Dean asks. “Time is fluid, Dean,” Castiel replies, looking aorund calmly. “It’s not easy, but we can bend it on occasion.” “Well bend it back! Or tell me what the hell I’m doing here,” Dean pleads. “I told you. You have to stop it,” Castiel says again. “Stop what?” Dean says irritably. “What, is there something nasty after my dad?” Suddenly, Dean hears a car horn and screeching tires, and he turns to look. When he looks back, Castiel is gone. “Oh come on, what are you allergic to straight answers, you son of a bitch?” Dean yells... The Delorian phrase was a reference to BTF as Doc Brown built a time machine using a Delorean(car)
  • When a man enters to talk to John, he simply called John, " Hey Winchester!" just as Biff called Marty's father in the first installment.
To end this, an excerpt from last scenes..
“I couldn’t stop any of it,” Dean says, sitting up. “She still made the deal. She still died in the nursery, didn’t she?” “Don’t be too hard on yourself,” Castiel says. “You couldn’t have stopped it.” “What?” Dean asks, standing up. “Destiny can’t be changed, Dean,” Castiel replies. “All roads lead to the same destination.” “Then why’d you send me back?” Dean asks. “For the truth,” Castiel says. “Now you know everything we do.” “What the hell are you talking about?” Dean asks desperately. Castiel looks over to Sam’s bed, and Dean looks too. It’s empty. “Where’s Sam?” Dean asks. “We know what Azazel did to your brother, what we don’t know is why,” Castiel says. “What his end game is. He went to great lengths to cover that up.” “Where’s Sam?” Dean asks again. “425, Waterman,” Castiel replies. Dean walks past him, grabbing his jacket. “Your brother is headed down a dangerous road, Dean,” Castiel goes on. “We’re not sure where it leads. So stop it. Or we will.” Dean looks at Castiel, scared.

A picture of Dean talking John into buying the Impala instead of a crappy old van.

Ok, as suggested by a friend, I would only post a brief paragraph on the episode so as not to reveal excessive information...

Review:
Opening Montage includes Meg Masters, Agent Hendricksen
This episode, starts with a female hunter who gets killed by a ghost at her own home.
The boys and Bobby comes to investigate and a few other hunters around the area dies.
Sam gets attacked by the ghost of Agent Hendricksen and they return to Bobby's.
Bobby was already captured by twin ghosts as Sam checks out the Yard and Dean inside the house where he confronts Meg(unpossessed).
Later on, they realise it was Rising of the Witnesses which is one of the 66 seals towards Apocalypse.
Bobby performs a ritual as the boys shoots any oncoming ghosts with Rock Salt.

Ritual was successful and Dean talks to Castiel after waking up on the Library Floor....

New Information/Findings/Facts:
  1. Bobby has a Ghost-Proof Panic Room which has all kinds of symbols and sigils
  2. When Lilith killed everyone at the Police Station in Season Three, she took her time to torture everyone for fun.
  3. Agent Hendricksen took 45 minutes to die because of Lilith
  4. Rising of the Witnesses is one of the 66 Seals that was opened by Lilith on road to Apocalypse
  5. When The Last Seal is opened, Lucifer would roam freely on Earth
  6. The Reason why Angels are beginning to walk amongst them is precisely the fear of Apocalypse and to stop summoning of Lucifer.
  7. Meg had a younger sister who killed herself shortly after her disappearance

Yes, that is Meg

Quotes:
  • Dean: Don't you think that if angels were real, that some hunter, somewhere would have seen one... at some point... ever?
Sam: Yeah, you just did, Dean.
Dean: I'm trying to come up with a theory here okay, work with me.
Sam: Dean, we have a theory.
Dean: Yeah, one with a little less fairy dust on it, please.
  • Meg: You don't recognize me? This is what I looked like before that demon cut off my hair and dressed me like a slut
  • Dean: All I know is I was not groped by an angel.
  • Dean: So Bobby was right about the Witnesses. This is some kind of a sign of the Apocalypse.
Castiel: That's why we're here. Big things afoot.
Dean: Do I wanna know what kind of things?
Castiel: I sincerely doubt it, but you need to know.
  • Dean: Ronald. Hey, come on, man. We were pals.
Ronald: That was when I was breathing. Now I'm gonna eat you alive.
Dean: Well, but I'm not a cheeseburger.
  • Sam: You built a panic room?
Bobby: I had a weekend off.
    Dean: Bobby...
    Bobby: What?
    Dean: You're awesome!

  • Castiel: Our numbers are not unlimited. Six of my brothers died in the field this week. You think the armies of Heaven should just follow you around? There's a bigger picture here. You should show me respect. I dragged you out of Hell. I can throw you back in.
  • Castiel: Why do you think we're here, walking among you now for the first time in 2,000 years?
    Dean: To stop Lucifer.
Castiel: (nods) That's why we've arrived.
Dean: Well, bang up job so far.

Overall, Great episode, shows us more of Bobby;s crib.
Unlike the Boys, Bobby has a fixed place and it shows us how he prepares himself if he was to be attacked, as shown by the panic room, compared to the boys who travels here and there.
That is all I Guess? Stay Tuned

Season 4x01: Lazarus Rising

Title: Lazarus Rising
Written by: Eric Kripke
Directed by: Kim Manners
Timeline: 18th September 2008

My Review:
Starts with a montage clip of previous season caps.
Then, zooms to Dean's current situation, IN HELL and suddenly, he wakes up underground and smart as he is, he had a lighter.
He digs himself out of six feet under and starts walking as the camera pans out to show the location he is in...

He reaches a store, breaks in, takes an orgasmic one-shot gulp of drink.

Looks in the mirror to see his scars vanished and he has a HandPrint on his left arm.
He starts taking certain "survival" items and not forgetting an XXX-Rated Mag(Busty Asian Beauty).
Suddenly, a television started displaying Static and Dean starts pouring Salt at the Door/Window.
It made things worst as a high frequency wave buzzes through the air, even Dean could not stand it, and shatters all the glass windows.

Dean walks out to a telephone booth and calls Bobby.
Twice he did actually, but Good ol' Bobby just won't believe.
Lucky as he is, he sees a car outside and hotwires it.
He drives over to Bobby's and got into a tussle with the old man and almost lost out.
But, his convincing acts such as slicing his arm with a silver knife proved to be enough.
As they were talking, camera facing Dean, Dean turns back and Bobby splashed Holy Water at him just as precaution. We also learn that Bobby's full name is Robert Steven Singer
They tracked Sam down in Pontiac, Illinois.

Motel door opens, a women greets the two of them and asks where the pizza is and they assumed they had the wrong room but Sam appears from inside.
It turned into an emotional moment, until Sam took out his knife but was resisted by Bobby.
They had a small talk and decides to go to Bobby's Psychic friend, Pamela, who he claims is a few hours away of the Interstate.

During the ritual to see who brought Dean back, everyone held hands, but Pamela was in contact with the HandPrint mark on Deans Left arm. She says she sees the name Castiel and right at the background, the TV displays static yet again. As Pamela conjures "Castiel" the candle flames were suddenly amplified and Pamela's eye were burnt...

I shall not go on now, for it will spoil the fun for viewers.
I shall emphasise, I typed all these by myself.

My Discussion:
After watching this episode, I felt that it was a very good Premiere and Dean is back! That is the main point!

A few facts,
-A new species has been introduced. It is none other than Castiel, Angel Of God.
In the final scenes, he claims that It was GOD that commanded Dean be saved and they have work for him.
-Sam has also been meeting with Ruby, who has a new meatsuit/host, to pursue his psychic abilities...
An instance showed him killing a Demon who turned Blind after trying to see who Castiel is.
Sam kills her just by using his mind-thing. She melted? and then vapourised. That was when Ruby stepped in.
-Sam has installed an iPod dock in the Impala

A few Quotes, well maybe alot.

Dean: Look pal, I'm not buying what you're selling. Who are you really?
Castiel: I told you.
Dean: Right. And why would an angel rescue me from hell?
Castiel: Good things do happen Dean.
Dean: Not in my experience.
Castiel: What's the matter? You don't think you deserve to be saved.
Dean: Why'd you do it?
Castiel: Because god commanded it. Because we have work for you.
====================================================================
Dean: Some angel you are. You burned out that poor woman's eyes.
Castiel: I warned her not to spy on an angel. It can be…overwhelming to humans. And so can my real voice. You already knew that.
Dean: You mean the gas station and the hotel. That was you talking?
(Castiel nods)
Dean: Buddy, next time lower the volume.
Castiel: It was my mistake. Certain people, special people, can perceive my true visage. I thought you would be one of them. I was wrong.
Dean: And what visage are you in now, what, holy tax accountant?
====================================================================
Dean: Who are you?
Castiel: Castiel.
Dean: Yeah, I figured that much. I mean what are you?
Castiel: I'm an Angel of the Lord.
Dean: Get the hell out of here. There's no such thing.
Castiel: This is your problem, Dean, you have no faith.
====================================================================
(Dean calls Bobby)
Bobby: Yeah?
Dean: Bobby?
Bobby: Yeah.
Dean: It's me.
Bobby: Who's me?
Dean: Dean.
(Bobby hangs up, Dean calls again)
Bobby: Who is this?
Dean: Bobby, listen to me…
Bobby: This ain't funny. Call again and I'll kill you.
====================================================================
Dean: Bobby, it's me.
Bobby: My ass.
Dean: Whoa, whoa, wait! Your name is Robert Steven Singer. You became a hunter after your wife got possessed, you're about the closest thing I have to a father. Bobby, it's me.
(Bobby attacks him again)
====================================================================
Demon Waitress: So you get to just strolled out of the Pit, huh? Tell me, what makes you so special?
Dean: I'd like to think it's because of my perky nipples.
====================================================================

Supernatural Season 4 Premieres!

Supernatural Season 4 Premieres TODAY(current time is 3am in the US).
As usual you guys did not make a wasted trip here.
If you missed the episode,
I WILL TRY NOT TO POST SPOILERS HERE BUT I MAY HAVE EPISODE DISCUSSIONS!

Do note that discussions would only be posted a day after the airing of an episode, following US telecast time. A bit of sneak peak for you guys...

Who says you cannot break out of Hell? That was exactly what Dean Winchester did. I can't really be certain who saved him till it premieres. So, YAY! Dean does not turn into a demon!
On a lighter note, it is great Dean came back, else it would be a bore watching Sam hunting alone? with Bobby? which is worst? you decide. Here is an excerpt by CW(Company producing Supernatural)
"DEAN RETURNS — It's four months later and Dean wakes in a pine box. He's been freed from Hell. He has a joyful reunion with Sam and Bobby , but it isn't long before the three wonder what exactly pulled Dean from Hell and what it will want in return".

So basically... ,this is for you guys who did not catch season 3. Current timeline is Four Months after Season 3 left off or better known as Four months after Dean's Deal Deadline. With good things come bad ones... It is great that Dean is reunited with Sammy but their relationship gets worst, supposed reason is cause Dean finds hard to "adapt".

As we all know the first three seasons has been about Sam and his Demonic Friends/Conquest. Dean, though main character, has nothing special except for cracking smartass jokes. Dean now becomes part of Sam's matters. Sam will also be pursuing his Demonic Powers to witness what he could really do, much to Dean's Objection.

Season Four also is introducing a new Supernatural Species, so look out for that!

That is all for now, I guess..
To end this post, I'll attach two screencaps from The Finale of Last Season
